@Petemc - Are you running OS Leopard there? How is it from a user's point of view?
 
Changes regularly but at the moment it's this one just to remind me that when it's nice out I can go golfing and not sit in front of this screen.

Might sound like a stupid question but how do i get a copy of my desktop (complete with icons) without taking a photo. Im running a mac if that helps?

Command+Shift+3 Capture entire screen and save as a file
Command+Control+Shift+3 Capture entire screen and copy to the clipboard
Command+Shift+4 Capture dragged area and save as a file
Command+Control+Shift+4 Capture dragged area and copy to the clipboard
Command+Shift+4 then Space bar Capture a window, menu, desktop icon, or the menu bar and save as a file
Command+Control+Shift+4 then Space bar Capture a window, menu, desktop icon, or the menu bar and copy to the clipboard
 
hmm seems imageshack may have removed my shot for some reason :(

EDIT - or maybe not, it is just being tempremental :(

im pressing command + shift + 3 which gives a clicking sound and takes a pic of my desktop and stores it there but cant get it uploaded. When i drag it in it just leaves the file name. Any advice?
 
You need to upload it to a website to show it on here :)

You can either use your free Gallery space on TP, or use a free image hosting service such as ImageShack :)

Upload the file to there, then copy the address of it into the reply box on here :)
 
Okay im trying to upload it to my gallery on here. It says the file size is too big. Im clicking on 'tools' on my mac to adjust the size but what resolution should i adjust the pic to so that it will be accepted?
Sorry if this seems dumb...
 
I have resized my pic to to 11.11 width by 6.94 Height (inches) Resolution 72.01 pixels/inch yet it still says the file is too large to upload. Any ideas where i am going wrong?
