Shiny desktop thread

I didn't know your wife sing, play multiple instruments and step dance

Unless her maiden name is Anderassen and has a sister called Kristen then your right, just uncanny resemblance.

I can see the resemblance though

Well, I couldn't decide. So here's the finalists

Oh, and this is after a good screen tidy :D

So c'mon, which one?

Al

When I hit cntrl and print screen absolutely nothing happens. Nothing happens no matter if I hit print screen on its own... what am I doing wrong?

When you hit cntrl and print screen (at the same time) it is saved.

Then go to Ms paint and hit control and v (this will paste it into paint)

Then go to file and save as jpeg.

cheers Noah!

Know of anything else that I can install that goes there? :P

aye, loads ;)

do a search for a widget called menu butler, it lets you put almost anything up there should you want to, rather fun.

RobertP you need to remove that trash icon its too clutered :)

That's lovely Robert, but do you really ONLY have the recycle bin icon??

I thought Id finally flipped there for a minute..... how did i manage to say How Rude before the ladybird post!! ! :D  :D

That was my desktop for the longest time Robert. Then I found out the transformers movie was coming out and well i'm a geek.

sorry, I didn't mean to post it twice, VERY SLOW computer!!!

Do you have Windows...Then you have Paint.

Go to start, run and type in mspaint.exe then press enter

or just use photoshop or something. as soon as you hit print screen it is copied onto your pc's "clipboard" (using windows) so you can paste it into lots of things.

As I got that picture from a link originally posted here it is not surprising I'm not alone :)

I have an organised start menu with everything arranged in folders so I can get to them without wondering where the program eneded up. I hate a cluttered desktop screen (unlike my real desktop!) so whenever I install something I delete the desktop shortcuts straight away.

Bet those of you with a screen full of icons only know where to look for a few programs anyway :)

After finally working out how to do it, I've not got a print button on the keyboard, so I just went through the 'f' keys and one of them must jave worked....

Thats nice Glen though it looks a little too much like my bathroom mirror after a heavy night
I use webshots and have the desktop cycle every few hours
This is the current one

I think your monitor focus is a bit squiffy  ;)
