This is my bathroom cabinet with an electric toothbrush plugged in. I want to use an additional toothbrush but can't seem to find a double adapter at all. Can this be done? Is there such a thing? Thanks for looking guys.

In a word, yes. BUT, I've not seen them in the UK, only in Greek supermarkets (probably in all European supermarkets except the UK TBH!) The only problem I can see is that the combination of 2 leads and the adaptor could pull the adaptor out of that socket.

I would just rotate the 2 toothbrushes on the charger base - they're good for about a week on a single charge, brushing twice a day so shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Also shaver sockets are typically limited to some very low wattage/current (my hair clippers - 15W cause the shaver socket to thermally trip after around ⅓ of a hair cut).

Swap & swap about or charge them outside the bathroom ... Or... Buy two toothbrushes that can use the same charge base

The European 2 pin plugs (for which there are 2, 3 and 4 way adapters) have a different pin pitch to shaver sockets. The shaver/tooth brush will fit into the European socket (due to the plugs having slimmer pins) but the pins on the European adapter won't fit the shaver socket.

Thanks for that, Bob. Never tried plugging an adaptor into a shaver socket and thought (wrongly, as it turns out!) that since the Braun toothbrush plugs are Euro ones (and fit shaver sockets) Euro plugs would fit the sockets.

Back to the rotating the toothbrushes on the charger base, Neil!
