Thinking of 10x rolls to play with?

cheap!

looks very good. will chance 10 rolls for £22.66p

10 rolls dispatched eta about 3 weeks :-)

Well I just sold loads of the expired film I got given on ebay it's amazing how much people will pay for that and bought 10 rolls of shanghai and a prism for my RB67 result

i think the prism is 1kg xD

i tried to dev some 120 black and white and gave up as i had a terrible time getting it onto the spool, its currently sitting in a spare tank waiting for another attempt

Just been looking to renew my stash, slightly worryingly there is none on eBay for less than £10 a roll.

Slightly frightening. Only a week earlier, my Ebay was recommending ten for I think around £24.50 (£2.45 each) including p&p. I thought it was a bit high a that. I should have bought. Lets hope that it is a temporary blip.

If you can't get Shanghai at the moment, then maybe this is a good time to look toward the continent for film. Because of the lower-value euro, I've been able to pick up a selection of Kodak, Ilford, and Fuji films for some ridiculously low prices over the past few weeks.

Yeah the first tier stuff is a bargain at the moment but its more than the £1.50 per roll when you're just testing a camera; Even fomapan was about £1 more before delivery.

Tbh I was more concerned there was a production problem. I'd hate to lose another film supplier even if they are second tier, foma is on borrowed time and Ferrania isn't up and running yet.

Why do you say Fomapan is on borrowed time, Steve? I thought they were on the up, introducing new films etc. Be a shame if they were to go, I rather like both the 100 and 200.

Where are you all buying film from in Euro-land? Macodirect? Any others worth looking at?

Foma's stated on a few occasions their machines are old and unlikely to be economically repairable and the film business is underpinned by their much larger chemical x-ray sales. So when the rest of the world goes to digital x-rays or if the machine breaks. Game over Foma. :(

Macodirect is about the cheapest and deliver pretty quickly. I've just put an order with Fotoimpex as Maco didn't have any Delta 100 (sheet) in stock so I'll report back what like they are.

Actually doing the maths now I've paid, yes I should have done it first, by the time you factor in postage my £99 worth of film would have only cost £103 at calumet. However they don't have any Acros in stock and I'm slightly worried about the price rise. Maco would have been £96.50 for the same order so only a tenner but they had no Delta. Moral of the story just buy it from Calumet....

For the films that I buy, which is mostly 120 format colour negative, Macodirect haven't offered enough savings over my local Calumet to warrant using them yet.

I'd recommend shopping around; there's not one single site that's cheapest for everything, so Google is definitely your friend. I've bought from a few different sites in Germany and Republic of Ireland most recently, but it always changes.

Where have you bought from in the past RJ?

Where do you normally buy from RJ?

I haven't used any place twice. I just use Google to search for sales and specials on 120 film. The best bargains are usually for short-dated or recently expired films.

Order from Fotoimpex arrived in less than a week. Ordered Thursday morning and delivered Tuesday morning. Not bad.
