Severn Bore's 52 for 2016

Thanks for comments about the toothbrush. Hey Carl, where is your feminine side? Actually I just accept what my wife buys for me so the colours tend to change with each new tooth brush - makes for a really exciting life.......................;)

Spiky: A mix of both images. prefer the BG of 2nd image with the spikes and ivy of the 1st image.
Artificial: Nice lampshade. Love the colours that the artificial light creates with the shade. I like it.

Personal: A good sharp image in the right places with good DoF. Nice reflection.

Artificial - I like the colour tones.
Personal - definitely on theme and nicely arranged

Really like this Andrew great DOF and love the bright colours and reflections

Excellent shot for the theme!
I see you had the same issue as me with the double reflection.
We really must get better quality mirrors! :D

Spiky#2 for me as I like the really oof background (y)

Artificial works really well and I like the cool tones. You' ve managed the exposure really well too. And the top of the shade is dust free :p which is more than I can say for my house :p

Lovely reflection for Personal, nice clean image (y)

Very nicely taken Andrew. Great composition and excellent DoF.

Andrew, focus and colour are absolutely spot on for you personal image. I really like you image for the Effort theme. The processing is perfect and nice and sharp with DoF

Nice and sharp on the screw.
I'm not sure on the overall composition though, I get where you're coming from but I think I would have gone with a much tighter crop with the lower hand, screw and bottom 1/2 of the screw driver only. But that's just me. :)

I like that Andrew nice DOF sharp where it needs to be very nice

Living world - a nice bright, pin sharp, vibrant image.

Spiky - deffinatly fits the theme.

Artificial - a good idea for the theme.

Personal - deffinatly fits the theme, I love the pink

Effort - perfect take on the theme.

effort - I like the composition and the neutral tones

Hi Andrew. Lovely old camera - like the bellows. Good choice for the theme.

Very nicely taken Andrew one of my ideas was my Uncles old folding camera. Really like the reflection

Technology - I really like the old camera and the reflections, its a great shot.

Many thanks for your kind comments on technology. This was my first ever camera at the age of about 11. I still remember and have stored somewhere my first photo taken with it. A ste3am train crossing a bridge just outside Gloucester. Sort of in focus, but subject to major motion blur! :ty:

Well spotted and well chosen Andrew. Lovely seeing those leaves turned upward to the sunlight. Nice DoF and beautiful colours.

Lovely image Andrew I agree with DK about cropping the top a bit

Very good and well framed with the doorway using the figures in front of the high alter has given it the sense of vastness too
