Hi guys,
I am close to purchasing a Canon 60D from DigitalRev, however I am struggling to pick a lens to partner the body. I have a few in mind and I was hoping that someone who has any of these lenses would be able to help pick a winner!
I was thinking of either getting:
50mm 1.8 mkII & Meike Battery Grip
50mm 1.4 second hand
70-200 F4 L second hand or on credit
I am buying with a visit to The Nurburgring in mind and I am looking to do sports photography and perhaps step into the world of nature photography.
Obviously if I go with the 50mm prime nature photography immediately goes out the window.
As I am going from a completely entry level A330/Sigma 18-200mm f3.6/6.33 and I was wondering how much of a difference in quality of image would I see between the lenses?
The obvious reason to go for the 50mm 1.8 mkII is it's price, however on the other hand I had the 1.4 in mind as something I will be able to keep for a much longer time which can be used on future bodies.
Anyway, I should stop rambling!
