Setting up email

Hi all. I am currently use View NX2 as my initial point of call for my image uploads. I have tried to email some images using the email option but cannot as I get - " Could not start the email program. Make sure you have selected a default email programme and that programme is set up correctly".


Does anybody know how I check and rectify this? I use gmail and hotmail if that helps.
 
Would help if the Op stated what Operating system was installed. ????????????
 
Click Start, it's the blue windows logo bottom left on the screen- All Apps - Mail

Hit the windows button on your keyboard and just start typing.

Perhaps a good idea to do one of the many courses or videos that are available on Microsoft website ;)

Ha, only works if the search box was activated during the install. Didn't work on my PC but does on my laptop, it was well documented on the tinterweb at the time.

Odd, I've done three installs of Windows 10 and not once I had to tick the box to activate search. Likewise with Windows 8.
