Hi Gary and welcome to the 7D club. Have a close read through the manual and a good read through the posts here and you'll soon be snapping the birdies with the best of them. It's a great camera, especially for birds and wildlife and in the right conditions you'll get some great pics with the lenses you've got. I bought the 24-105 f4 L with my 5D2 but it's used regularly on my 7D, about as much as on my 5D2.
