Serco’s admin system??? Advice Please

Hi there,

I have been asked to photograph students at a school which uses Serco,s Facility admin system. All students have there own ID-number. I have been asked to make sure that there will be no problem updating the photos of each student to match the Id number. I presume I save each photo and name it as the same as there Id-number?? If anybody can advise that has used this before it would be great help.

Serco is the Irish made school admin system. Same as Capita and Pheonix etc.

Its easy to do. There are 3 labs that provide the service and thwre are 2 really good software.

Timestone and Halse. you get a CSV file of all kids info including Admin number. The Software converts info and you can shoot to list or shoot to barcode. These are tethered to laptop.

Halse do it with option to add barcode reader to camera. this can only be done with Nikon and Fuji S5's.

At the end of the shoot you can convert image size and ad the admin number to file and burn a cd and give to school before you leave.
