Sensor cleaning?

:shrug:Well my sensor is dirty again and think its about time I cleaned it myself so thought I would ask which product you all use and which you think is the most effective?..

I use 100% pure methanol, some lens tissue and cut dowm spatula method.
Also know as a Copperhill style this method is described by RobertP here on a TP thread. ..

It is very easy as long as you do exactly as described.


I've recently run out of methanol and desperately need a new source if anyone can help..?

Regular use of a rocket blower. When things get bad I go for Pec Pads / Sensor Swaps with Eclipse solution.

Really stubborn dirt takes 2 or 3 goes to remove but it works really well.
