Sensor cleaning.

Hi all.

I have been wondering how scary it is to clean your own sensor?

It would be great if i could get your tips and tricks for doing it and the items needed, or as a complete novice would you say it is best to take it to a shop to get it done?

The scary part is having the courage, and I was really apprehensive about doing it. But once you have done it, it is a very simple process. I used VisibleDust which gives you 4 swabs and 1ml of liquid cleaner. Take a photo of a white piece of paper at f22 to see if your sensor really needs cleaning.
Google "Sensor cleaning" for all sorts of info on the subject.
Believe me it is very simple to clean your sensor.

I think i will try it myself as my local camera shop charge about £40-50 to do it and if it needs doing whilst i am away from home at least i can.
