Announced in this weeks AP;

Brushoff = £42.95 ... wow !

It is, apparently a new sensor cleaning brush claimed to be able to conduct electricity to counter the effect of the sensors electronic charge by acting as an earthing mechanism ? Thereby causing the dust to to be removed and the sensor discharged. And of course derived from something NASA ! :Ponders:

It ought to do something for the price but I think I will wait for the reviews ?

If it works and is 100% safe then tbh I think I would consider it even at that price.

Cleaning the sensor is the scariest thing I have done with it so far...
 
Like the last bit of the detailed decription.... If you mess the brush up clean the sensor with swab and pec pad :)

All sounds a bit unlikely to me. I tried the charged brush (by blowing with canned air) and it works but leaves stuck bits behind. Copperhill is the most reliable.
 
ive got some pecp[ad type things to review, just not got round to it yet
 
I just shake my Nikon like the Olympus does to its sensor ;)

What electronic charge? the camera is powered down when you clean (the glass in front of) the sensor. Eclipse fluid and pads are what I use, have done it 3 times now, wipe once one way, once the other and hey presto nice and clean. :)

You forgot the ... "and cheaper" bit Steep !?! :laugh1:
 
I bought some Eclipse fluid and sensor swabs at Focus yesterday. They were giving a demo on the brush but imo it wasn't that good.
