Yes
Kind of shopping related question, so thought i'd post it here.
I've listed a CCD camera on ebay and a bidder has asked if i would post to the Netherlands.
Has anyone sent items abroard? and if so, how did you send them?
Done a quick shifty on DHL and Fedex and it'll cost £35-£50 to send it!!
Royal mail roughly £13.
As its second hand, would that have any bearing on customs declarations etc, or are all those things buyers responsibilities?

Long time since I've sent anything personal, but have a look at RM AirSure for EU post (at least that's what I think it was called).

You can send it international signed for,it,s not as expensive as you think.

Check into the regulations regarding sending equipment containing lithium batteries. My wife has just been told (by the post office) that she can't send a tablet PC to Germany because it contains a lithium battery :(

Tell them to read their own literature.

Electronic items sent with lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries where the battery is not contained in electronic equipment are prohibited.

Lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries when sent contained in electronic equipment such as a mobile phone or digital camera are allowed. Please see www.royalmail.com/internationalrestrictedgoods
