Sending multiple large files via email or cloud?

Hi all,

I know this has been answered here before, but fr the life of me I can't find it.

How do you move large/multiple files to your clients? I have used We Transfer with varying degrees of success (It seems to fail a lot) and Dropbox is a bit impersonal.

What do you guys use?

Dropbox in work - simply share the folder - or you can get the we transfer app which lives in your menu bar on the Mac; then you simply drag a compressed file (containing multiple files) which then gives you a link you can share in an email; it’s a really handy app tbh, much easier than the we transfer on the web where you have to ohtnin the “to and from” etc
 
I use We Transfer almost every week so I'd be interested to know what issues you have had? If I'm sending to punters I always make sure they know that size of the download otherwise they try to download 5GB of pics on their 2GB phone!
 
We use pixieset now but before that we used Google drive and Dropbox

I attempted to use it on three separate occasions in the last two weeks and it was failing to send? I ended up using an equivalent site, but I preferred the ui on We Transfer. Perhaps it was my end
 
Started testing using sharepoint/onedrive for large uploads and some private gallery previews, if I share a folder I can edit the contents and with permission they can send files back to the shared folder, otherwise I can send direct links to individual files for them to download direct. I used to use direct links to html sites before that.
 
DropBox every time : You can send folder links to clients so they can only access that folder. Also allows you to update as well. Good for collaboration as well as they can put stuff into that folder for you to access.
 
Does the recipient still need to sign up for an account to receive files with Dropbox?
