Hi , What's the best way of sending lots of pics to an email address ?

Another vote for dropbox. Download and install it. Add files to the folder which will then upload to the online storage. Email who you want an invite too the folder. They download and install dropbox then the files sync. Job done

Just installed Dropbox...A wee question.. When my email friends get the photos can they save them and upload them to their website?

Yes. They will just have too copy them out of the dropbox desktop folder into there own folder, then they can do as they want. They will also have there own space where they can upload whatever files they want and then share with whom they want.

If you have the free account, for everyone that you invite and installs dropbox you get a little extra storage too

I like wetransfer.com, especially for professional use because it's minimal and tasteful ie.no trashy/NSFW ads, no waiting times etc.

Have a look at yousendit.com. You don't send them by email, you upload them, it send a link to customer, they download them therefore no issue with email attachment size etc. There's a free lite version and pay for versions with more features.

Does Zipping a jpeg attachment make it any smaller? I tried in work the other day and the file size only dropped by a few percent. I put it down to jpegs being already compressed. My IT skills are not what they should be though..........
