I ordered a phone for my wife from Geekbuying, the package arrived without the phone but had the screen protector and case.
Went through paypal and they want me to send the bits that did arrive back via fully online tracked delivery, so i can get a refund.
Has anyone done this before and who would they recommend to use? that doesn't cost the earth, as it looks like i'll be out the return delivery cost.

Are you having no joy with the vender? Was the packaging damaged? You could take it up with the carrier.

It looks like the phone wasn't in the package at all, as it looked un-opened. The seller wanted me to get a latter from the delivery company but, this was impossible as they wouldn't let me know who that was.

Seller doing that Chinese thing hoping you'll give up and just go away. You shouldn't have to insure the package if it's just the accessories in it so pick the cheapest signed for option the post office offer, as long as it gives you a reference number to pass along.

Do you not know the carrier, did you sign anything? If not just change your story and say you got mixed up with another delivery and you've not received anything.

I've been through the whole email then PayPal thing. I wish I hadn't told them that the screen protector and the case arrived. PayPal looks to have decided in my favour, but won't refund until the items are returned at the cost of about £25 for signed for. They only weigh 200grams max.

It's one of the risks you take buying from China, the cost of returning something is always very high. They have access to much cheaper postal services than we do too.

Small parcel international signed for is £9.75, that should cover you.
