Send To gmail

You can't do it directly through windows explorer. Well not unless you setup Microsoft outlook with your gmail account anyway.

But if you logon to your gmail with Firefox/Internet explorer etc.

Click compose from the left hand side

Then underneath where it says subject there is a small link which says 'attach a file' and voila.

No I must not of made it clear.. I know how to attach a file within Internet explorer and Google chrome etc
what I want to is say when browsing a file whether its a picture or other kind of document
every PC windows version I have ever had allows me to right click on that file
(while any email program is closed)

and it has always given the option 'send to' email which it does but I want to send it via my gmail account not my now redundant O2 email pop server

in windows xp I used to be able to add the 'send to' command to anything I cared to add to the drop down menu but cannot find out how to do this in windows 7

I cannot believe such a simple feature is missing in win7!!!!

its a pain in the backside having to open up the gmail browser then use the attatch file - then having to go look for it which takes 10 longer than the simple right click and thats it

Won't be possible to send to an attachment on a webmail client.
Not sure that is right. I think there are ways to fake it (a google will sort you out).
