Hi All, the Selphy ES1 has a feature to print a calendar alongside an image, but this has only worked for me when printing straight from memory card or camera. I have taken shots in RAW which the Selphy doesn't recognise, but if I download to laptop to convert them to jpg then I can't access the calendar options and print from laptop as the options are greyed out. I can't put the jpgs back on the CF card either :shake:

I have looked through the printer manual and it doesn't specify that the options are only available from card/camera, so how do I access them when printing from laptop?

Hope you can help, I don't want to have to reshoot - its children at a preschool and each child's parents will get their child and a calendar to stick on their fridge or whatever. Seemed like such a good idea when I suggested it, but I shot in RAW... :bonk:

Thanks, in anticipation, Nicky

Cant you copy the files required to the memory card, but put them in the camera folder. Then use card in the printer or camera

Dunno... I'll try it... thanks.:)

(sometime later...) No, can't do that, computer won't show a memory card in the slot to which I can copy the files even though its sitting there, can't send them to camera either.

Thanks anyway, worth a try, Nicky

Not tried it myself yet.

I use mine for proof printing before the files go to the lab as its the neasest to lab quality prints you'll get (Dye Sub) Only thing is with this printer was Vista drivers weren't included and there is no ICC profile.

After an intesive search I got a profile to match and it turns out beautiful images with no colour caste on them

I had to download driver too, it belongs to my daughter's preschool (I'm the treasurer) and we had a grant to buy IT kit, we're chuffed to hand quality pics out to parents and wanted to do the calendar thing, but it won't print those options from the laptop. Perhaps I can add a calendar via Photoshop... new to that, clueless!!
It's going to take 3 times as long!!! :bang:
