We have just done a friends wedding and there will probably be people who want prints done. We did the job as a wedding present to the B&G and we don't want to make anything on the reprints. So basically I am after a site/service that we can upload our photos to and the family/friends can order direct.

Can anyone recommend me anywhere/anybody?

Thanks

AB

Photobox will be your best bet I reckon, I've done just that twice now.

:agree: Did exactly the same for the wedding I covered.

I thought about Photobox, but the last batch I had from them were dull and reports on here from others say the same.

Thats not so bad if I am receiving the photos first, but the plan is for me to be taken out of the loop and I won't be seeing them. I don't want a load of people coming to me if their picture is printed naffly.

Anyone else?

how do you upload them in to photobox and let other people buy them?

Im not sure togsprint are geared up to handle multiple orders from albums the way others are though, are they?

is there a link to the gallery so i can have a look at uploading.

Hey guys

It's called togsFriend is the service that is used for 'togs to host their own galleries etc

We take the order for you, process the prints and pay you the difference.

The site is currently being refurbed as we speak (www.togsfriend.co.uk) but will be available *hopefully* at the end of the week if the developers keep their word...

Without wanting to take business away from LeeP, I have recently set up Gallery2 with the paypal add-on. It means people can pay by CC or debit card through paypal. You still need to process the print yourself through your chosen printer and send on to the customer but it's easy enough to set up.

I tried the galleries at Photobox a while back and didn't like the way it operated and now I'm not too keen on their print quality. I also didn't like the way customers could see what the cost price of a print is, something that Gallery2 prevents them from seeing.

Hi Neil

Hope you are well.

I do actually have an old Gallery2 site that I could use but I don't really want to do any administering after the pictures have been posted. I would rather the photos get posted direct.

I'll pm LeeP to see what he has to offer.

Regards

Andy

I am after something that similar to the above, after an event my images are hosted in a gallery, atthe moment they are not for sale, but I'd like to offer people the option of buying them, but I don't want to worry about sorting out prints etc. What I need is somewhere I can upload the photo(s) to if people want to get them then they can sort out the print with the printer...

I think Photobox do this, but I'm a bit worried by the reports of quality of their prints.

LeeP - Will Togsfriend offer this service, and when will it be available?

Im with theimagefile.com but its about £25 a month to join-but has great online services.

togsFriend will be live in 2 days!! All work has been done, undergoing thorough testing presently.

However, if you need to get things underway before then, send me a PM to get the ball rolling.

PS - Andy. Did you get my PM I sent a while ago?
