Selling film kit - ffordes, mifsuds, anyone else worth a try?

Not had joy here or on evilbay selling a medium format finder contacted ffordes but they'd pay £80 for something I spent £130 on. I've accepted I need to take a hit but that just seems too much, any other places worth a try?

I have to say that it doesnt sound to bad, you have to remember that they have to warrenty it and they are in business to make a profit. If you have had no luck in selling on here or the bay then maybe that tells you something about the value of the item and what it is worth.

I would also contact Mifsuds although I think they will offer about the same. It may also be worth trying london camera exchange if you have a branch near you.

Just looked at what you have for sale you are asking approx what they are selling for in shops, as I said they do need to make a profit.

Sorry if the first paragraph sounded a bit off, I didnt mean for it to come across like that if it did.

No you didnt sound off and understand they have to make a profit just wondered if someone less high profile would take a smaller cut
 
try sepiamemories. I just sold something to him, and he offered me a fair price : 60 quids for something he listed for 100 quids.
Also could try Monark Camera - I sold something to him as welll and I am happy.

Join a lot of forums and put your items up for sale? gumtree.com?
 
might try gumtree and ill have a look at those suggestions too ujj.
 
I just sold some stuff to www.cash4cameras.co.uk ,he offered me a decent price, which was as much, if not greater than I would have got off e-bay after paying their and paypal's fees.
