Selling camera abroad

To those who don't know, I am selling my 5D2 and I have someone from US who wants to buy it.
To those who have experience selling abroad, which payment method is the safest (I'm guessing BT) and which courier did you use?

Buyer suggested FEDEX, I haven't used them so your input is highly appreciated.

I'e not diea about the safest payment method but FEDEX should be fine for sending it. Just make sure its a signed for service and appropriately insured.

I used paypal both for my protection and the sellers. Bt would be the best if the buyer is willing to pay that way.
Fedex is fine but you may want to try DHL through a agent in the pre priced boxes. You may be surpriced at the price for sending. Very resonable. Also its tracked and insured.
