Is there a place where a person could place a photograph on line and members of the public could buy prints of it?

The idea is that a person will be taking a group photograph in a small village to celebrate the jubilee. If this can then be placed on the net, people can order a copy if they want one, rather than the individual having to take orders, send off, collect money ect.

Assistance appreciated.
 
If it's just a one off..... how is the event being advertised? Maybe if there are flyers put a note on there for who to contact, or even have a Facebook page with the pictures?

You could even throw up a quickie website, just depends if you want them to be able to use ecommerce to purchase or just to get name of interested customers.

If it's a group shot, make some cheapish business cards and give them out after the shot.
 
there are a variety of services arround which offer fulfillment - smugmug is an example but far from the only one
 
Deviant art will do the same, from a basic print to a canvas.
 
Failing that - if it's a one off.....

Is there anybody you know well enough (that already has something set up for selling prints) that you could send the file to ?

They may let you place the file on their site and provide you with a link which you can pass on so people can visit and place an order.

They might like the idea of people visiting and looking at what else they have.

I'd go with a photobox gallery, you can set your own price brackets for the prints too
