Selling a PC Game registered on Steam ?

Is there a way to sell a game that has been registered on Steam ?

I have a boxed game that I have actually sold but the buyer can't use it as its registered on steam ?

Is it possible ?

I don't think so. Short of giving them your steam sign on details.

Could be wrong though.

Yep you cant sell games on steam. Only gifts can be passed on.

nope, ive got a disc copy of COD:MW2 that is registered to my Steam account that I wanted to sell but I cannot.

No wonder people pirate games....

indeed. if theyre going to make us pay £40 to play their games at least have the decency to let us sell them on when we've completed them in 4 hours...

To be fair its all in black and white when you go to activate your first game. Plus who pays £40 for pc games these days with the likes of cjs.

Yeah very true, when I worked at Game a lad used to come in the shop who was a little disabled. He was great fun and LOVED the simulator games like tractor driving etc but he could not play many as they demanded an internet connection even though he had no interest in playing online and had no internet at his home.
