Hi all

I am wanting to sell my car. It is quite a nice car and I can't find any of them on Auto Trader. Parkers price guide seems to be useless and I wondered where you all recommend to sell. I was thinking of putting it on here because thats all I know and haven't sold a car before! I don't know if it is better on eBay or Autotrader or ....???

If it's something scarce and/or desirable then it should sell on Ebay or in the Autotrader without too much hassle. On the other hand if it's something that's scarce because no-one ever wanted them, the Suzuki X90 springs to mind, then you'll struggle no matter where you advertise it....
 
Haha, no it is just a rare trim with rare options thats all :D

On Autotrader it doesn't come up but eBay's search is much better.

You could try an owner's/enthusiast's forum?
 
It is a Renault Megane but they do a Dynamique but the one I have is a Dynamique S which adds:

Completely wireless entry and start
Split Leather interior with leather doors
Climate with AC
Folding electric door mirrors
Auto dimming mirror
Cruise control
Styling and wheels are different

But when you put Dynamique S into Auto Trader it ignores the S
 
Leather doors.....


Not sure that's a selling point, personally I'd much rather have metal ones....:naughty:
 
Ive sold about 6 cars on ebay. I tried autotrader and didnt even get a phonecall.

I always get cash on collection to avoid paypal fees and sometimes close the auction if a buyer comes to visit and offers there and then to save on FVF fees too.

My last car I sold on ebay went to germany! He flew over here, picked it up and drove home again.

The guy drove it from Gloucester to Birmingham, then Birmingham to Dover, then from Calais to the middle of Germany... In that....
I was papping my self driving it back home from Oxford!
 
Piston heads or Pre loved are quite good free classified sites.

If you enter the model as "Dynamique S" with the quotes, it brings up the correct model - 33 available nationwide at the moment....

Gumtree might be worth a look too. Also, stick it up for sale in your local newsagent/free classifieds.

Pistonheads is worth sticking it on, but is mainly sporty cars on there.
