What is the score with some sellers??? Cant be bothered, even after numerous polite requests, to leave feedback for a buyer that pays immediately and also leaves timely feedback for the seller???

Gets my goat i'm afraid :bang:

Amend your feedback to them to negative then wait for the emails to arrive.

Make it a requirement of using the classifieds that feedback is left and then if someone fails to leave feedback they loose there access to the classifieds

Perhaps they would rather leave no feedback than negative feedback?

Why? So other buyers/sellers can get sucked into using someone who's unreliable? Surely the point of feedback is to say whether someone is good or bad to deal with. The system falls flat on its face if people only leave positive feedback and stay silent about the negative transactions.

yeppers i get the same thing with the feedback not being left.

i think its because there's mild post count elitism.

forums have that a lot. an opinion is more qualified because i have 10.000 posts.

I do like this forum though. The debates are measured and in the main not personal, it's just about the weight of an argument.

For example about a year ago i was getting it from all angles when i asked the question whether Murdoch was a dangerous man. Seems i was correct in my assumption :) (had to get that in sooner or later)

I know it's a tog forum but i would at least like politics to be allowed in OOF. Reason being that the arguments on here ARE so measured and thought out and that has to be a positive thing.

EDIT: the F1 blackout is working well. i do not know how anyone has done in the quali :)

I think the OP is referring to sales feedback not general thread feedback

I get your point, so i will expand with how i see it.

I think you will find that the users not getting feedback for purchasing in the classified section, is more prevalent with low post count users.

How can a members post count effect giving or receiving feedback in the classifieds?!

i don't know, i'm just surmising.

all the peeps that have said they don't get feedback have a low post count.

All buyers / sellers can give / recieve feedback.

Some like me are forgetfull so I have no idea if I need to send any.

I dont see it as a big issue, but people getting snotty over it is just a little sad.

I'm missing a few too, both on here and other forums.....it's just the way of the world!!

Or maybe, it's the members with lower post counts that like to moan more often about forum related things?! Just sayin'!! :D

i have to say i'm guilty of this - having sold a bunch of books i've not left feedback for any of the buyers - basically i got busy and forgot - life happens and i wouldnt take it too personally (i'll do mine later)

i certainly wouldnt suggest revising feedback left though - the feedback is supposed to be on the deal not for tantrums about not recieving feedback after it
