sell ya tax disk

PMSL!

Oh FFS!

Obviously the disabled ones are worth more, off to put mine on ebay. :D
But it clearly says value nil :p
Mine however has an extortionate figure written it that,
so by definition, mines worth far more :D

:plus1:

Oh and I see there is 181 people watching it.
thats 181 people so far ready to jump on the band wagon :D

Thinking about it, I AM going to take mine out tonight, because as soon as the local yobs around my way learn about this, they will probably go around trying to smash windscreens to remove them :jawdrop:

I never put mine in!
I bought the car pre-registered and it had never been on the road ( 7 miles total) and it arrived without the disc, by the time they posted it to me it was only 3 days before the big removal day so I did not bother.

I should have bought a load of old bangers thrown the cars away, and kept the tax disc lol. Is anyone really going to pay silly money for them?

Ive found a lovely example of a tax disk dated 31/05/13 in my car glove box this afternoon. Anyone interested in this vintage piece before I go to ebay?

:plusone:

Although it does have a P&D ticket blocking it from view!

Used to have loads of expired tax disks going back to when I first started driving but binned them all when space became more important than old crap!

I took my disc out on the 1st October, just to be different from all you lot that still have them like lemmings :p

I'd not had one in my transit for 2 and a half years, never had any bother apart from a nosey neighbour.

Damn, got 12 years worth in the motorhome.

With regard to the OP, technically it is not there tax disk to sell anyway as it belongs to the government

It is also against eBay listing policies on restricted & prohibited items

Its amazing how many people keep old discs. I've seen holders bulging with um.

I've taken mine out my van but not car or bike yet.

I feel sorry for all the business that have got loads of holder, eg showrooms. I've got about 30 cos of my valeting business. Mine are the sheild ones that you can put a card in. My wife is going to make an advent calendar out of them. A piece of a fabric picture goes in the tax pocket and sweets in the card pocket. Each day you take the piece of picture out and and Velcro it to the main pic. Then eat the sweet. I'll put a PIC up when its done. Recycling at its best lol

When I bought the Triumph in July, I bought a decent TD holder in a matching(ish) colour. Think I'll just leave it on with the current disk in since I'm a lazy sod!

hands up whos not even taken theirs out yet..

...and the Harley still has the one that expired in 2011 on it as I CBA to undo the eight nuts to change it and just carried the current one with me! :D

The sad thing is that some people have actually made offers. There's tax disc collectors? lol

I've taken mine out, but wasn't because of the new scheme. Took it out because my dogs decided to jump from the boot to try and get my wipers and left wet nose marks everywhere. After cleaning I was reminded I didn't have to put it back. Story of my life that.
