I have not used this lightmeter as yet. I have got some yongnuo 603s wireless triggers, can I use this light meter to get a reading while using it with my speed lights. I have not got the extra module RR32. I am waiting to have a go at off camera flash.

Most flash meters (and I'm sure yours is no exception) have a "non-corded" mode (different manufacturers call this different names - check your manual to see what Sekonic call this).
When the meter is set to NC-mode it basically waits until it sees a flash, and promptly measures it.
So you would set your meter to NC-mode with ISO and shutter speed set appropriately, 'prime' it so that it's expecting to see a flash, then trigger your flash(es) using either the trigger on your camera or in your hand, and the meter does its thing.

I find it really useful to have a spare trigger transmitter for this.

Ok thank you for your reply, I have tried to find the answer in the manual, but couldn't find it. I have put the meter to the flash symbol set the ISO & shutter speed, then fired my flash without the r603, and after a few seconds it gives the aperture, so I'm assuming this to be correct. Thanks again, I am going to use one speed light only with a Softbox, until I make progress. Thanks again for your answe.

Thanks very much, I notice from the icon on those pages that the icon still looks to be set on the ambient & not the flash icon. I need some good practice:-)

Oh thanks Brian, I missed this too, will check it out. Thanks again
