Looking at one of these & for the price it seems pretty reasonable.
Any one who has one i would love to hear their thoughts on it.:)

Pretty much industry standard for a well priced, no frills, functional flash meter.

I've got one somewhere though I tend to use a more expensive Minolta I was given. It's the one I recommend to anybody who asks.

Lots of people (most?) use a 308, including me. Excellent meter. You can pay a lot more for various features, but they don't meter any better.

Thanks guys you just confirmed what i was thinking,i have seen them on ebay for about £135-£140,not too bad, will have a good look.:)

Thanks for that Steve.

Got one on order now.:)

+1 it's a great unit, I use the timer on the flash and it works really well.

Cheers Strat.:)

I recently bought one too and it's simple to use :)

Yep looks a great piece of kit for the money.
I have an old Weston Mk v which i picked up ages ago to try just to get the basics, works great.:)

Just getting to grips with using this meter. When metering the meter displays a full f-stop number followed by a 1/10 fraction/decimal next to the number.
Is there any way to set the meter to display half and third of a stop? Im sure I have seen people using them and the readings they were getting were not only displayed in full f-stops was I dreaming??

Hold the mode button down when you turn the meter on, then press mode button to change. Between 1, 1/2 & 1/3 power off to save page 20 of the manual lol

Ahhhh thanks alot big help that. I never recieved a manual I just thought the meter was so basic they didn't bother and I was missing something.
