Hi -- I have a Canon C100 that I want to securely position on the top of a wooden shelf unit in my studio room.
In that position, it is about the right height for my purpose, but it would need to be angled downwards to adequately
frame my subject. The depth of the shelf top is just under 25 cm. The C100 is a large beast and, with the lens, weighs
in at 2.3kg. The studio room is very small, and a bit overcrowded in terms of gear, and this makes the position of
the camera a bit precarious. So, ideally, I would like a support arrangement in which the base of the support could be
screwed/bolted to the wooden shelf top. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
