Wow, thanks! At least I can search for the 'kick' now and looks like Wilkinsons have stock that isn't pink lol so all is not lost. So now I just need to figure out if the alternative fastener fits my tripod plate

Another option is to have an arca Swiss clamp attached to the black rapid screw in connector. It allows quick changing, and if you worry about it working loose then add a safety tether between the strap and camera lug. I often use the black rapid like this.

Black rapid now do an arca Swiss compatible plate too. There is also the fusion photo arca Swiss plate that allows quick changing between strap and tripod.

To be fair, the Optech is a tight squeeze too

I'll have a look later. But I don't think that would work that well. What you could do is put 2 tabs on the standard fixing points and one on the Base plate. So you could swap from Base plate to standard style strap if wanted to in seconds

I use the the Peak Design Slide Lite on my EM-1 MarkII attached solely by two tabs on the supplied tripod plate. It works really well for me with the advantage that I can use the plate on my tripod without having to detach the tabs.
