Many thanks to my Secret Santa, not something I would have bought myself, but now I have one I will use it.

Just as I suspected.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Merry Christmas everyone, have a festive day ..... eat, drink and be merry ;)

:thankyou: to my Secret Santa for the great gifts. Both very useful, I'm going to have fun figuring out the 12 ways to wear the scarf :D The colour is perfect and would have been the one I would have chosen myself, so well done there.

The little bag is also very useful and will come in handy at home and on my travels for keeping all kinds of bits and bobs in.

I still don't know who my Secret Santa is, but figure it must be a female member (or a male member who had some help choosing the gift ). Regardless, I am very happy with my gift, thanks

Thanks also to the TP Santa for organising this SS, you can now rest and enjoy a couple of glasses of Christmas Cheer

Have a great day all.

Cheers

Dawn :)

Thank you SS, although I still don't know who you are.
I got one of these bottle tripod thingies - you can attach it over the top of any drinks bottle to turn it into a tripod on the go.

 You couldn't have known this, but I've recently started carrying my little Fuji bridge camera with me in my handbag so I have a camera available all the time.
This is absolutely perfect for the Fuji and small enough to just slot into my handbag . . . Since I usually have a bottle of water with me too, I now have an instant tripod no matter where I am.
Thank you again :D

And a very big Thank you to TP's very own SS for organising this again.

Merry Christmas all !!!

Thank you SS for my gorillad pod tripody thing.. I like bendy things.:naughty:

Kev.

I wondered who'd be 1st ;)

A digital photo Key Ring thingy!

That's exactly what some lovely person bought me. Thank you very much! :)

Thanks for my lovely Northumbria Scenes calendar, lovely shots of snow and hills, neither of which we have in my part of the country

For anyone wondering how to wear one of the 12 in 1 headgear, have a look here http://www.buffwear.com/pages/technical/ways-to-wear.php

Been using these for years and have an extensive collection, also handy as a lens cover in the cold weather to stop condensation or soak in the summer with cold water to keep yer bonce cool.
Met the chap on the video and he showed me the foreign legion stylee one which I don't think is on the demo, a particular favourite because it keeps the sun off ones neck

So if anyone wants that described, let me know and will do my best to explain

Thankyou Santa for what will quite honestly be the most fun gift of the year.

I promise to provide photos of my creations - my wife has already suggested I should make something rather rude with them.

I'm pleased my recipient was happy but I think I have been rumbled even though I was careful :suspect:

Many thanks to my SS.

Unfortunately the mug and the knome waterer were broken, :'( perhaps it was the lack of padding and the man handling by the postman so have had to go in the bin:thumbsdown:

Bit sad really:(

Hope everyone has had a good day anyway.

Well I had a 12 in 1 cammo headear thingy, and it kept me toasty warm while we were sledging, so thank you secret santa.

Hiya Rich, thanks for the link and other useful tips on how to use the scarf. I had mine on today and it was brill.

Would be interested to hear about the foreign legion style one you mentioned if you can explain please.

Thanks

Dawn :)

I got a Baileys Hot Choc set which will be used soon I love Baileys mmmm!

Hope my gift arrived not seen any reference to it yet...

Here's mine:

My SS is clearly a mind reader as I needed a smaller lightbox to complement my big light tent for product photography!

Hiya Dawn

Will give it a go, don't think I am quite up to a video demo like that chap though

Turn it inside out, lay it longways on top your head with it hanging down your neck at the back. Stretch the uppermost single layer back over to cover the top of your bonce and have a quick straighten up here and there.

Might do a few demo pics tomorrow, should be amusing if nothing else

They really are very handy although the genuine ones were a bit pricy for what they are and nice to see some cheaper versions about. Urban camo is my favourite design although I do have a Blue one exactly the same as yours which is another well worn one

Happy Christmas or Boxing Day as it is now
Cheers
