I hope someone can point me in the right direction?

I am currently building a web site (well the last 3-4 months) & i'm using dreamweaver.

The site I have built shows up on google if I my name, but if i use any of the image or gallery names nothing comes up. :shrug:
Any help on this is much appreciated.

google's rankings are very complex and are worked out by a variety of methods. Some of which only google knows..but theres still enough knowledge to work on out there.

The main things that will help you boost your rankings

relevant links from high quality sites
optimised content on your site
optimised site for the search bots to read

number of factors within those areas also to consider, such as parts of the site, what type of links, where from, link text, what keywords you use, keyword density in your content, structure of your site etc etc..
