it's a path, a small stream/river runs underneath the walkway which is under the Euston to Birmingham line

It's has an overflow from Lodge lakes running underneath the walkway, which runs into the Great Ouse a couple of miles away.

You must have been gutted to see the freight approaching from the other direction just as the flying moneypit was coming the other way, but actually, that is a really cool capture

It was the longest goods train ever, I was only just aware of the FS steam till it was upon me. But pleased with the result. Who knows if we will ever get another chance.

It's almost an abstract shot.. works for me. Nice one.
 
It’s a proper capture-the-moment picture and all the better for it, has energy and action, good choice.
