Seaodyssey's 2022 Fifty Two (Critique Welcome) Week52 Showcase

That works well for the theme. Almost a semi abstract shot with the shadows on the wall.

That's a creative take on the theme Pete. I like it.

Week 19 Sport.

Being very busy making a mess in the garage, not finished yet.
Took these on Tuesday while car was having some recall work done.

Took a walk to the local football stadium and had a walk around and found this.
Football is not a sport I'm interested in at all, much rather be making a mess in the garage.

Good shot for the theme Pete. I have a love/hate relationship with football being a Cardiff City fan and season ticket holder

That's part of the problem with football, some fans of one club seem to hate some fans of other clubs, and of course the ridiculous amount of money players get paid, which of course, the fans pay for when they go and watch them chase a football around (also to watch on Sky or BT or BBC or ITV)

Pete.

This is a good find Pete. Is MK Dons the name of the team?

Yes, The city of Milton Keynes is known as MK in the UK, it's also known as the city of roundabouts as it has so many and as the home of the concrete cows.
It was granted city status on Thursday by the Queen. It was known as the new city of MK since it was created about 55years ago.

Week20 Parallel

Sorry it's a day late. Had an idea on Tuesday but forgot to take my camera out on Wednesday and on Thursday we took a day boat out on the Grand Union canal for our anniversary.

So a plethora of parallels is now here

Yep, I see parallels all over this image. Good eye.

Certainly got a few parallels in there. Great image.

Lots of parallels here Pete and I like the way the steps lead into the shot. Very nicely seen and executed.

Week 21 Metal

I have was thinking metal would be easy, but I have been very busy these last few weeks and not a lot of time available, so usually look out for things while walking
<<<--- Dudley.
There are plenty of bits of metal around like Putins, railings, bits of BR stuff, but nothing unusual.
The Sun was out this morning and I spotted something in the back garden that is metal and hopefully a bit unusual.

Nice rusty owd churn Pete :)

Very metally Pete. They are 2 things that resonate from my past.
The milk churn when I was a boy helping out on a farm, and a garden furniture seat, an industry that gave me employment for part of my time as a working adult.
I like the way the side lighting highlights the rust.

Thank you for your comments and interesting story Pete

Metal sitting beside a metal seat. Good capture.
Thanks for your comment Bill.

Thats a fabulous churn Pete and the metal bench adds nicely to the theme

Nice shot Pete :)

It's a mist have to have boxes/drawers etc full of "useful" stuff that we might need one day....

That's a very good "man" things shot. I like it :D

Man treasure heaven! Micrometer takes pride of place.

All sorts of treasures in there Pete. Nicely done (y)

My kind of treasure... nicely done!

Man treasure heaven! Micrometer takes pride of place.

All treasurable stuff there for sure!
Thanks Guys

I think that kind of treasure is becoming less so for the younger generation.:(

Pete

In that case, I have tons of treasure in my shed... although some would call it "hoarding" :D

Nicely captured Man treasure.

I think the Micrometer on the top really adds to the composition - that is the first place my eye went, and then you can rove around the rest.

Ticks the box which is the main thing when you're feeling uninspired.

That's a good entry Pete, I'm kicking myself because I have a bunch of solid state bits and pieces kicking around.
