Where is the best place to get these, I have always used muslin but want to give paper a try:shrug:

Hi

I got my first roll just last week from warehouse express, great next day delivery. Much better results than muslim backgrounds, as long as you are careful with creases etc you cant see the background detail as much. May think about investing in something to prevent it from unrolling un nessarily though, can be tricky to roll back up. Have you taken the plunge yet? interested to hear how you get on...

not from the UK but i've found that Lastolite has good backgrounds and the price locally is
great so just find the closest lastolite stockist :)

Manfrotto have a great system for paper backgrounds - they have wall hooks and a 'expan' roller system which attaches the roll to the hooks and allows control via a plastic or metal chain. We use these in the studio and are very happy with them

Creative backgrounds. Best price by a way.

Thanks all, yeah I got a artic grey lastolite roll to experiment with, seems good so far. I also know what you mean about it unrolling when you donr want it to, I have shoved an aol shoot through brolly up the end of the tube as a temp measure, seems to work fine so far:thumbs:

For info can get clamps like that from your local £1 shop (for a third of the price!) :)
