Last week I had the opportunity to try out my new sealskinz waterproof all weather gloves in the rain for around 4-5 hours. Whilst my hands stayed dry(ish) the outer material of the glove soaked up lots of water, the problem being everything I touched got soaked (not good when pressing buttons/scrolling dials on the camera/lens). If I clenched my fist water poured out of the gloves as if I was wringing out out a wet cloth. If it was only my gloves that did this I would have thought I had a defective pair but one of my friends also had the same issue with his new sealskinz gloves (shooting glove) so. I'm wondering if all of the sealskinz waterproof gloves do this.
Has anyone experienced this? Am I expecting too much from a 'waterproof' glove?
