SD Memory card...

Hi all. I am looking at purchasing an SD card for my Nikon D810. Can anyone recommend a good memory card to get the best out of the camera..?

Sandisk or Lexar, purchased from a reputable source, in a size and speed rating that is comfortably for your wallet.

Thanks Andrew. Will it be an advantage going for one that is 280 speed instead of 96...?

It reads and writes faster to and from the card.

If you are a 'spray and pray' photographer or one where a fast frame rate is required, e.g. sports, then this may have some value whilst shooting, and a faster card will be quicker when downloading to a computer.

The photos will be exactly the same, no difference in quality at all.

I went to a Speedboat competition a few weeks ago off Bournemouth Pier ... had 2 professional photographers next to me and I have to say they must have taken 4 or 5 shots to every one of mine. I wouldn't have the patience to sort through that lot.
