Hi all,
Have a slight problem with a SD card. There was what appeared to be some kind of electrical fault with the camera whilst attempting to copy photos off the card. It wouldn't turn on again, and when the card was transferred to a different camera it would not read it correctly, saying there were no images on it.
On the PC the card is showing as having a used capacity of 180MB or so, so the data is still on the card, we just can't access it when exploring the drive.
The card was full of photos of my girlfriend's graduation, many of which were not duplicated as the best camera was used for the majority of shots. Naturally she's gutted.
Is there a way of recovering the data off the card without paying hundreds to a data recovery specialist?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks!
Jim
