Dare I suggest you just stop eating?
I find it difficult too, but it's as simple as that really. Eat less calories than you expend and you lose weight.
Stop drinking alcohol for 6 months.
I read somewhere that a single measure of Baileys was equal to six Mars Bars - Six! I couldn't eat 6 mars bars if my life depended on it, but I could drink a bottle of Baileys if I felt the urge - actually, make that a bottle of Single-Malt - The ex-Mrs was the Baileys fiend... Alcohol puts more weight on us blokes than Fat-Boy fry-ups and chips.
A bit of running does no harm either - though if I didn't have this job, I would never run anywhere ever - I'd just cycle for exercise.
