Press Alt-print screen buttons together, open paint and paste the screen in. Alt-print screen grabs the window in focus, the one with the blue bar at the top highlights, or download snag it with a 30 day trial..

with all these.
Also if you have windows with the sniping tool (7, and some Vista) which is under the accessories, you can select what part of the screen you want to grab.

I could never get "PrtScn" to work on my computer.:shrug:

Someone on here back in the day pointed me to this, it works fine and it's free!

ALT+prnt scrn does the highlighed window

prnt scrn does the whole desktop

print screen then copy in paste always works for me. The alt print screen only does the hilighted window as mentioned.
