I am watching 'The September Issue' for the second time and again it is bugging me what lighting setup is going on here - please see image below.
The shot in question is by Sims. The obvious is that he has two monitors, shooting on a Hasselblad. My questions are -
-What is the left net stopping down? Is it for the dress? Where is the source for this?
-The black flag on the right - is this purely to absorb light or is it to flag off another flash?
-Am I right in thinking the softbox on the C Stand mid frame is the key and he has a softbox camera left as a fill?
-What is on the C Stand nearest the camera? (head out of frame)
I know that Sims' setups are extremely precise, but this one has me stumped. Any clarification will be greatly appreciated!
