Scratched the itch and got back in to R/C again

Now that the itch has been scratched this is my new R/C. Normally I am a car person but with age comes slowing things down so I got myself a trail truck/rock crawler.
With a 55T motor, locked diffs and a drag brake not much gets in this things way.

I used to get a number of hits daily on some of my land rover photos from a company called Axial I guess I now know why :LOL: though what that needs is its own gopro :D

Love the look of it by the way
 
It looks like it needs some stickers on it to me but I totally get your itchiness :) I am so tempted to get a quadcopter.
 
i wish i never sold my rc modelex d90 ands all my axial trucks i miss them when the weathers nice.
 
I still have a cupboard full of RC planes left over from the late 90s, but the cost of replacing the radio (all past it's 'use by') would be excessive & the time isn't available any more. :(

Don't want too many stickers on it, trying to keep it it as realistic as possible. Always fancied a quad copter too. Think the wife will kill me though.

2.4ghz radio gear is ultra cheap these days
 
Is IC flight still allowed?
 
Is it a kit or ready made, I've got a real defender,I've always fancied making a replica ,some of the models I've seen look real with the level of detail and the way they're photographed

This one is a kit.
There is a defender body that can be bought which drops straight on this chassis. You can even get the matching landy wheels (see below)

Yeah a well detailed model and some clever photography can really trick the mind.

RC is a good hobby,

I've finished another build,
It's a quadcopter with a GoPro and FPV camera mounted on it.
