scratch disk

im trying to put 3 pics onto a new document in ps cs5 but when i try and move one a luittle it says could not complete the move because the scratch disk is full


dont suppose any one knows what that means

think it means hdd is full cause i just deleted 160 gig and its working now

Your HD is partitioned and PS has defaulted to save on the smallest partition.

Go to File>prefrences>performance

You'll see any partitions listed and what one PS is using. Change it to the biggest one.

i took all my other stuff of this partition and now its running fine

Further to previous answers, you need to select discs/partitions with the most empty space, which aren't necessarily the biggest drives. And you can select multiple discs, not just one.
