Surprised we haven't seen this discussed after the independence debate.
Dispute a number of us saying the figure didn't add up, there was a lot of optimistic guesswork, some didn't believe us.

Now just a few months after the vote, with the drop in oil price, Scottish oil revenue for the next three years looks to be £4.7 billion, not the £20.2 billion claimed by the SNP.

That would have left a serious dent in the spending plans.
 
Almost a shame, would have been interesting experiment seeing them trying to get out of that. That is if they were allowed to take it with them. Then again they would probably just have blamed Thatcher for it ;)

Perhaps that is because we were all bored to tears with the neverendum and politicians telling lies is not exactly news.
 
It won't be mentioned too much in Scotland, certainly by the SNP, until the price rises again. (a bit like global warming doesn't get as much air time here in Winter)
 
Just more SNP lies from the fat bloke and his puppets.
