Hi all :wave:
I'm Rob, a pretty normal 22y/o lad from Central Scotland who has put off his interest in photography for the last 2years until last week when i decided i wanted in on the action.

Bought my first DSLR 2nite, a brand new EOS 450d with an EF-S 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS! Not exactly overjoyed with the lens but it'll do as i find my feet with the camera & save for better glass!!

I'll be looking for C&C on my shots & intend to completely use & abuse the fantastic wealth of experience on TP to help me get better!

Roll on Monday morning for delivery & let the fun begin!!!!

I'll get myself along to some of the meets as soon as i've got to grips with the 450!!

BTW don't discount the lens until you've used it a few times, it's very good for what it is, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I suppose your probably right, I've got nxt week off work so i'm gona faf about with the camera & settings as much as I possibly can.
