School prospectus/website project

Hi folks

Not sure if this is the right section...

I was asked to take some shots for my school recently (I'm a teacher) for the website/prospectus. The pictures have now been uploaded to the site.

I would appreciate it if you could take a look and leave a comment.

At the very least I got a day off work to walk around with my camera.

The pages all have pictures at the top so select the menus a the top to see them. Also the home page image changes periodically.

I just took the pics - hopefully the office sorted the forums.

Your interpretation of my name says more about you than me, I'm afraid ;) (I'm a bassist who used to use Pedulla guitars, shortened to ped years ago and it stuck)

I didn't know that but is it legally binding? Our laws regarding the taking of images and using them for promotional work is a minefield.

I am only asking questions, not stirring.
 
I think so, for child protection (in case one of the kids is in protective custody or something). Not really sure to be honest. I just took the shots and let the school figure the rest out!

I tried to take a few where the students were out of focus so that it wouldn't necessarily draw attention to them.

Not about me at all, its a term that is used every day, AS I use to work with children for 30yrs and have had CRB check before retiring.

On the whole I like them.

The most "professional" looking one imo is the one with the two kids holding thier hands up. Just the type of shot you'd expect to see on a peice of school promo material.

The rest of them are good two, the only one which I didn't really like was the one with the kids running away from the rock climbing wall? The zoom blur, or technique didn't work for me sorry!

Still really good on the rest!
