Scanning old 110 negatives?

Well seeing as 110 and disc are two entirely different formats then I wouldn't call it that obvious! There are some places which sell custom made 16mm film (which is 110 is) holders for flatbed scanners, but they are pricey (£50+) so you might want to try simpler methods such as using a piece of Anti-newton ring glass to hold the strips down and flat on the scanner?

Thank you for those two suggestions. I will check them out later.
The other thread was useful as I had never considered the option of using my DSLR to digitize them.
My only thought on that though, do you need bellows or would a good macro lens on its own do?
I have a 105mm Sigma one which goes to 1:1.

Don't mind buying bits if I need to but as they are more for sentimental than display reason don't want to spend a huge amount on getting them done.

*edit* Just looked at the Lomograpohy link and might just give that a try for £19 anyway!

I use the Lomo holder. They are well designed holders, and are actually much better at keeping negatives flat than any of the Epson supplied holders. It's probably the best way of keeping negatives flat without resorting to physically sandwiching the negatives between ANR glass.

After mounting the negatives, I put the holder roughly in the same place the 35mm holder would sit on the flatbed (I use an Epson).

Just ordered the Lomo holder suggested.
I tried photographing some as a test but damn, those things are small!
I gave up after flicking several across the room trying to line them up. Think I need steadier hands for that idea!
