i've got 100's of actual printed photo's i want to scan/ copy to cd/dvd if possible.

boots only do like upto 10 prints.
but we made a reprint from a photo the other day, and the scanning takes along time.

what's the best option for this, i see jessops has same facilities and cheaper, but didn't check on speed, quality, and numbers to cd/dvd.

some are sentimental pictures, and don't fancy a shop/ person (if there is this option), to let them do them all, just in case they loose it, rip it etc.

I use a Canon 'Canoscan 4400F' and get good results, then put them onto CD's or DVD's.

i have a home HP 3 in one unit, probably will do the job, but the speed of my comp and scanner will take hours and days to go through the several hundred i have, so thinking is there a shop which does scan in and write to cd quickly and in bulk?

You could try photographing them, but I think it would need a good lighting set up and a decent camera.

Once set up though woould be much quicker than scanning.

photographing them. i don't think i'll get as good finish though, but good thought. might see how it goes later

Onevisionimaging in Coventry offer that sort of service, I've used them before for scanning slides...
