Yes
Which 35mm fit or DSLR fit lens would you buy/ really want?

ummm for that budget there isnt much choice but the 50mm 1.8

I'd buy a cammo cover for my 100-400. £100 won't get much of a quality lens. Nah, on second thoughts I'd buy a couple of decent shirts or a new pair of DM's

Put it in the bank. Then again might go towards my Remote shutter release

Get a couple of sessions of therapy, one for me and one for Brash........

Add it to my 70-200 F2.8 VR lens fund.

50mm f/1.4 MF, 2nd hand but only if I HAD to spend it on a lens. Or maybe an 18-55 VR kit lens for Dad (he's getting a bit shaky so the VR would be useful).

Is this Canon?

What about borrowing £50 off your mates and getting the 135mm F2.8...

a couple of fred perrys brash or a nice crisp ben sherman or some stay pressed and 14 holers god that takes me back red laces or white dependant on how i was feeling :bat: lol

Raynox DCR-250 and the 50mm f 1.8 and a couple of pints
or maybe a set of Kenko extension tubes from ebay and a couple of pints.

Back to the OPs original question.

Well us Sony boys ( and girls ) are spoilt for choice.

On a good day on Ebay you might just be able to get a Minolta 70-210 f4 Beercan
or
A Tamron 55-200 £70 new or £40-45 second hand.
or
A Minolta 50mm f1.7, c. £70.
or
A Minolta 35-70 f4, £21 last night on Ebay.
or
even a Minolta 35-105, £22.50 Ebay

Apart from the kit lens in my sig, the other lens only came to about £150.
If I had £100 and had to choose lenses to cover most day to day situations, I would go for a 35-70 f4 and the Sigma 70-300 APO.

i would put it to the D300 or 17-55 i am thinking about

but if i had to spend it on equipment it would be on another camera bag

looking at your kit bag Id buy a 18-55is kit lens as you seem to be lacking at the wide end and I think the kit lens is the best/widest you'll get for £100

Other lenses I'd consider in this price range include the 50mm 1.8, 28-105 f3.5-4.5, 70-210 f4 and 70-210 f3.5-4.5 all genuine cannon lenses that perform pretty well allthough some of them are getting on a bit now!
