Sawman's Wildlife Competition

Sawman has very generously put up a prize for a wildlife competition.

Rules are pretty simple. One image, wildlife (preferably native animals or birds, not plant life), winner to be decided by a poll, runs for two weeks, winner takes all. Please bear in mind Sawman's normal style of photography, wherever possible please keep submissions to non captive wildlife.

Very difficult choice, I plumped for this over any peregrine,osprey, even deer shots (roe or otherwise)......It walked up the riverbank,spotted me,swam across the river and ran along the opposite bank,hence the wet fur.

I know this is not actually a native species, but there are so many of them in the UK now and they are here to stay, so here goes...
